Arizona Capacitors, LLC, a manufacturer of wound film capacitors, was formerly known as West Cap of Arizona, a division of the San Fernando Electric Company, originally founded in 1952. In our growth, we acquired Goguen Industries of Arizona in 2002.
In 2010, Electro Technik Industries, Inc., of Clearwater, Florida, acquired Arizona Capacitors, LLC, and we now operate as Arizona Capacitors, Inc. Electro Technik is a holding company which operates various subsidiaries in the passive electronic components industry including: custom magnetics, microwave, resistors, and now, wound film capacitors.
Arizona Capacitors is located in Tucson, Arizona, less than 20 minutes from the Tucson International Airport. Their property spans one acre and our facility occupies over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.
Many of our offered wound film capacitor and electronic filter drawings date back as far as the 1950s. Arizona Capacitors have proudly served the military and private industry with quality components for over 60 years. While we are proud of our past, we are constantly working toward developing new products for the future.
Arizona Capacitors designs and manufactures all types of custom wound film capacitors including: Mylar, Teflon, polyester, polystyrene, and polypropylene film capacitors. Arizona Capacitors build custom film capacitors, in addition to offering a line of standard film capacitors. Arizona Capacitors also manufactures oil filled and hermetically sealed film capacitors.
