FASTRON Group was established in Germany in 1978, with the first factory opening in Malaysia. They specialize in manufacturing RoHS compliant, high quality (e.g. AEC-Q200 grade) surface mount and leaded inductors and coils
After 38 years, FASTRON Americas, LLC was established in 2016 to better serve the North American Market. FASTRON has grown with another factory in Hungary. Both are IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certified as well as RoHS compliant.
Fastron Products
Toroid Line Chokes
The core material is an iron-powder mixture giving high saturation currents which come in vertical mounted versions for THT assembly.
Applications:
Power Supplies, Output-chokes, Control Units, EMI/RFI-Suppression Chokes, and Line-Filters.
Rod Core Chokes
These chokes are designed as a single layer coil with rated currents up to 10A, high mechanical stability, and high saturation currents.
Applications:
Noise suppression coil for brush-collector motors for automotive and many industrial applications.
Chip Inductors for
Power Applications
These inductors are designed with a high Flux density Ferrite Core.
Applications:
High profile DC/DC converters, such as in portable devices and in the backlight for tablet displays.
Common Mode Filter
Chip Inductors
These inductors filter fast signals at high frequencies.
Applications:
Data-line filters, Ethernet networking, CAN-Bus, USB, and Wideband noise suppression.
RFID Transponder Coils
Surface mount transponder coils cover a wide range of electrical performancesUsed for wireless data transmission.
Applications:
Low frequency RFID products, such as immobilizers, TPMS, and keyless entry.
Leaded Inductors
These components are suitable for decoupling and interference suppression.
Applications:
Automotive electronics, electronic household appliances, entertainment electronics and lighting devices.
Suppression Coils
Suppression coils have high rated currents and low DC resistance characteristic.
Applications:
RF blocking, filtering and decoupling.
Pluggable Inductors
These inductors come in shielded, tube, and cap versions able to protect the winding and are used in all types of electronic instruments.
Applications:
Digital amplifiers, LPFs, and signal filtering applications.
Wide Band Chokes and Beads
Ferrite Beads wound with tinned copper wire which are commonly used in signal filtering and protects against radio frequency interferences to Ic's.
SMD Power Inductors
Suitable for high rated currents, have high reliability, and can be assembled by surface mount technology.
Applications:
VTRs, LCD TVs, notebooks, PCs and DC/DC converters.
Chip Inductors for RF
These wire wound chip inductors are designed particularly for RF applications that require optimal Q on high frequency circuits.
Applications:
LC resonant circuits such as oscillator and signal generators.
